if you are pinging/knocking still, i don't think your knock sensor is working properly. perhaps it is not torqued to spec. i believe it should be around 13 ft lbs.

as for the cause of the knock, try running some higher grade fuel. what are you currently on? also try sending in some fuel cleaner and stuff. how's your fuel filter, was it replaced not too long ago?
