Nuetral safety switch? Car stranded....Update

Working in the parking lot is no fun. If lying in the snow doesn't get to you, the snow melt/sand/salt blend dripping in your face will.

As long as we're talking about the selector linkage on the automatic -
There are bushings that fit in the linkage that wear out eventually. I replaced mine about a year ago and the improvement in the feel of the shifter was suprising. The parts are cheap and the solid feel of the shifter is a nice simple pleasure.
