winter tires: size? brand?

I just ordered a set of four Hakkapelliita Q's from Jack Williams Tire Center (big chain in Eastern Pa) for under $90 per tire "out the door"

This includes mounting, computer balancing, new stems and $1 for some fee, I don't know what.

This was after I *cancelled* an online order from www.etires.com in chicago.

they said it would be about a week for them to "procure" the tires, THEN sthey'd ship. (another 2-3 days). Price there was $87.95/tire, plus $37.40 shippping of four tires. Then it would have been another $47 at JW to mouont, etc.

$$ Saving NOTE:

Order the alternate (slightly thinner) 185/65-15 size.

It is a scant 10mm thinner and the same load rating and overall diameter. Why mpay more for the 195-60's? (They would have been about $110 pere tire)

Another NOTE:

My tire guy at JW said availability is great! While other tire makers under-produced this year, Nokians are avaivable "by the truck loads", said he.
