Is this the wrong MAF for my car??? 700 1990

A quick question regarding my newly acquired ’90 760 Turbo. I have seemingly worked out many of the bugs and PO issues, and the car is running wonderfully. Last night while cleaning under the hood, I noticed that the MAF number ends in 007. References to this numbered MAF sensor seem to indicate that it is for an older model – pre 1989? My question is such: Is it ok to run with this current MAF unit (007) on my ’90 760 turbo – if not, can it cause problems. Also what is the correct numbered MAF unit for my vehicle.
Thanks much in advance,
Craig
