Strong vibration appeared after replacement of both engine mounts. What's wrong? 200 1987

Hello, all Volvo gurus and funs!

There is such a problem. Two days ago I replaced both left and right engine
mounts on my 240DL 1987 because my mechanic recommended to replace them due to wearing out. I agreed but after replacement there appeared very strong vibration of all the car's body. On a highway the vibration is not mentioned much but on idle it is unbearable. Interestingly that I didn't have such a vibration before the replacement of those "worn" mounts. What did my mechanic do wrong? Maybe, he overtightened the mounting bolts? What to do?

Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,
Dmitriy.
