Evap Canister

mine is attached at the bottom in a 940..but i have a pic of an engine bay where its attached at the side and lower down in the bay...sorta on the side of the frame..

the reason i can see is that the side mounting is on a car without aircon hence that location isnt taken up with the compressor - on mine with aircon the compressor is there...

this would suggest there may have been several mounting positions and the bracket may be multi purpose...

if mounted from the bottom it sorta sitson the frame...but hangs out into the main bay a bit...
