Volvo has lost a 21 year customer

Alex,I think that I like your mechanic: "no French cars and no Saabs."

Umm... I went to an auto auction about 2 weeks ago, and there was this rust-free '88 Saab 900, and since my daughters admire the *looks* of Saabs, and since it was going cheap, and since I am sometimes a fool... I'll spare you more details.

Someone has said that a Saab is a "thinking man's Volvo." Whatever was he thinking, I want to know. Maybe "thinking," as in white-collar, so he pays someone (with training in obscure assembly topics, and small hands!)to repair it for him?

My best idea so far is to strip the car, wax it up real nice, and get it into the living room as a piece of sculpture.
