Stalling in a '81 242 200

I've finally gotten to drive the car more after getting it running, but now it will stall when slowing to turn or stop and it seems to be only with the clutch in. Usually i can get it started again by popping the clutch but a few times I've had to stop and crank it a few times to get started again. I just replaced the in tank pump and the injector seals. I suspect a vacuum leak but can't find any loose or cracked hoses. Does this sound familar to anyone?

Also, there is a hose coming from the control pressure regulator that goes no where, its relatively short and doesn't look to be severed. Is this to dump excess pressure or should it be going somewhere?

any help would be apperciated. Thanks for all. Adam.
