Urgent! Problem in Changing Thermostat.

Had the same problem on mine a while back. Soak that puppy with some PBlaster and let it soak a while. If you have a pair of "needle nose" shaped vice grips, they should get it off. I used just a little heat on mine (propane torch) that did the trick. Don't overdo heating it and don't melt any electrical wires or your alternator in the process. Like others have said, avoid 12 point sockets or "knuckle buster" (aka adjustable wrenches) that will make things worse. Keep at it and you'll get it off.
