Diffential Leak 700

I have noticed while the car is on the hoist that there is a leak coming from where the drive shaft enters the front facing part of the differential of my 1989-744GL (automatic).

Question: Is this one of those seals that I need to fix RIGHT NOW or is it something I can wait on? (oil is not spewing out or even dripping on to the ground)

I have heard that gunk builds up inside and wrecks the bearings of the Diff.
Your thoughts/opinions are always appreciated as usual.

Thanks,
Tim
