Tried to do trans flush. I've got a problem and not sure where to catch fluid?

I too was a little confused about the fluid flow direction so I figured if I attached the hose on the return I could just switch to the opposite connection. I got it right the first time. The hose I got, clear tubing from Home Depot, was a little to small to fit over the top return line on the rad. I just took the tubing in the kitchen, put the end over the burner and softened the plastic while jamming in a round tapered center punch. Cooled it with water and it held it's shape for a perfect fit. It was a two person job. I manned the ignition and the new fluid and my wife manned, I mean womened, I mean handled the tubing and the marked plastic milk jugs. Very easy. The engine in idle, pumped out the fluid faster than I could put it in so when I was a qt. behind I just shut down the engine to catch up. I over filled by a qt. and ran the shifter through the gears. It took 11 quarts.

But hold on Jet, within the last week or so there was an interesting twist on the tranny flush I kinda wish I did. I wanted to check and clean up the pan but I couldn't break the filler tube nut. The suggestion was to pre clean the tranny by first flushing with a standard cheep-o (89 cents per quart) Dextron III like (Costal brand) fluid and run that for a month or two. Not a bad idea considering this is only a $10 flush before the $50-$60 dollar flush.
