advice please 200

Tonight my 86, 240, with 235000, manual,OD acted like the AMM went bad. No power and 30 mph tops, it would start to die.
I swapped the fuel pump relay, no change. Unplugged the AMM and restarted, it ran worse. It was terrible, I couldn't keep it running. Plugged it back in and drove to my folks house and parked it.
With my Bentley in the trunk 30 miles away, I'm trying to diagnose.
Plugged cat, fuel pump, fuses, spark??????
Any and all advice appreciated. Thanks in advance to all, glad things are back to normal.
