new owner questions.

I also love my 91 740 wagon.

The power locks are run by the driver's side door lock thingy. You can only lock the doors when that door is closed. Could be a broken switch, broken wire inside the drivers door, blown fuse, or bad power lock relay. But you definitely have power locks, even if they aren't working :-)

I think you are describing normal heated seat behavior... at least that's how mine work and just about every other volvo i've been in (if the heated seats even work)

The service light reset is described in the FAQ of this site... look towards the bottom left of the speedometer, there is a little rubber plug there... you pull that plug out and press in the button behind it with a small screwdriver or something like that. Then the light will turn off, and come on again in 5000 miles to remind you to change the oil.

hope this helps, you have a really cool car and i'm sure you will enjoy it!
