Rebuilt AMM Disease

It hasn't happened to me personally, but I've seen several reports on the board warning about defective rebuilt electronics.

Well, maybe it sort of did happen to me. When I was having driveability problems a while back (turned out to be the ECU) the shop that was troubleshooting the problem swapped the AMM to a rebuilt unit they had on the shelf. The car ran worse.

Hmmmmm. Following your extensive replacement efforts, the engine was still running bad until you went back to the old AMM, and then the problem went away immediately. I'd say that is pretty damning evidence.

Good luck.
