deep clunk under car when braked 700 1985

Bricksters.....Took the old gal out on the highway over thankgiving weekend visiting etc. for about a 6 to 7 hundred mile jaunt.

On the way home I heard two deep clunks when I was braking. Only happened twice and not always at the same place in the stopping slowing down process. You can imagine the amount of times one would apply their brakes on a 200-300 mile trip home.
Any Ideas?
In the past I've had a caliper bolt loosen and fall out. It's a little cold out there to get under the car right now and I haven't head it since.

thanks again
