To turbo or not? 200

As posted yesterday, I'll be selling my '95 855t and Caravan to put my wife and myself into 240s and have a big chunk of change left over the kids college funds and an old BMW R100RS.

She'll get a '90ish 240 wagon but for me it's wide open. Learning what I have about A/C systems in the 240s (thanks guys) I'm comfortable with an older model as long as it's rust-free.

Now, to turbo or not. I believe the 240's normally aspirated 2.3 is rated about 105 hp and the turbo around 150 or thereabouts. I may be off a few horses but bear with me. I'll miss the power (222hp) of my 855t but really, in accepting that I'll be stepping down significantly in power, would looking into a 240 Turbo be something to consider? I'm thinking I won't get anywhere near the rush my 855t provides so why bother. How do the normally aspirated engines respond to standard performance mods such as performance camshaft, headwork, header etc? Just curious.

Opinions please?
