Need Turbo Help, Please........

Well just look and see - via exhaut outlet if the the wastegate is stuck open.

You need a hand pressure pump and a 0-10 psi pressure gauge.

Simple hook pump and gauge up to small hose that comes from turbo wastegate actuator....pump some pressure while looking/feeling...does it move with pressure and retract with removal of pressure.


Could be jammed open via the wastegate itself in the turbo - disconnect actuator arm and wastegate valve should move freely.

Or could be actuator itself which should move with pressure.
