240 Overdrive Swap

yup, I have an '83 overdrive on my '86 right now. However, you'll note that there is a hole in the back of the OD unit for a speedo cable. Since your car has an electric speedo, you'll have to plug the hole. I got a machined aluminum plug from Hamilton's Corner Garage here in Ontario for around 10 bucks Canadian. I'm sure there's other places to get them. Heck, It wouldn't be that hard to make...just a rubber gasket holds it in there. Dripping tranny is annoying...good luck
