Power Steering Problem causing car to stall 900 1991

Hi guys,

After a brief trouble free period my 1991 GLE 940 16 valve is acting up again. My car started stalling whenever I come to a stop or just idling. It got so bad that I had to drive with both legs on the pedals, trying to maintain the idling at 1500rpm. Initially tought some electrical problem. But after a check under the hood, I saw pool of fluid on the splash pan. Traced it to the leak at the back of the power steering pulley. Checked the fluid level, not much loss of fluid. I guess finally the P.S has given up on me. It has been making noises during start up (especially mornings) and a spray of water or oil will quiet it down but never thought it will konk so soon.

I suspect that the seals and bearing are gone and needed replacement. Is there a special repair kit available in the market (like those for the steering rack)? If so I would like to know the parts reference number.

thank you for the help
