Today's odd event

That is what I am thinking...HOPING..happened. I drove the car about 20 miles today without incident. I love this ol' beater and don't want it to die.

One of the reasons I posted was trying to confirm that such an event can happen. It just seems to make sense to me. I was just unlucky in one way: that I got a clueless guy at the radiator shop. As the prior reply said, this makes me leery to go there for anything more complicated than getting my windows washed.
