AW71 starts in 2nd

Things to consider, other than "Internal Problem":

Are the motor and trans mounts OK? If they are way out, the trans can be in one detent while the shift indicator says something else. Check clearance between RH motor mount and oil filter.

How about the kickdown cable? There's a way to check it and lube it. Check the FAQ's.
