delayed 2-3 shift with cold weather

I've seen the o'rings go bad in that trans after just 100k in a 244 before, I think it was because the previous owner once put the wrong type ATF in. But it sounds like a possible problem in the kickdown or control body. Did you check the fluid level since the problem began?

No OD along with this is not good, will the car stay in 3rd below 4000 and does it engage 3rd solidly and quickly or does it seem to take its time and slip a little?
