Strange Dash Switch

The switch is connected to a bunch of wires, but nothing happens when I flick it. Perhaps there were extra lights at the front at one point, but I can't see any evidence of such. It could be useful if extra lights are fitted in future though, as if the wring, etc. is already there the lights should just connect up.

Point of interest. I have two rear foglight switches, one of which is simply being used a blank for one of the switch apertures! Must find some proper blanking plates!
