Best way to flush PS system? 200

I want to switch my power steering to synthetic fluid. I saw some comments on the 700 board to the effect that Volvo PS isn't picky and that Mobil 1 ATF would work fine.

But how to drain/flush without making a huge mess? Does anyone have a good scheme for doing this?

I could simply siphon out from the top, add fluid, run it a while, siphon some more, etc...using up some expensive fluid but not having to disturb any of the hose seals.

Or, is there a drain plug somewhere? Or is there a hose connection that is designed for opening and resealing?

And is there any trick to reprime the pump/avoid trapping air bubbles in the rack?

Thanks for any help you can provide.
