My 1988 745 TIC is a smoker with big gushes of white smoke out the exhaust. I have cleaned out the PVC, replaced all the vacuum lines, cleaned the oil box, the air box, the intercooler and all the pipes between intercooler and turbo and manifold. The smoke is reduced but not gone. The car does not consume any oil nor any coolant. There is smoke coming out of the oil dipstick and the oil filler cap.
Now, I ran it today and put my hand behind the exhaust. There is loads of water coming out and the exhaust fumes are wet, my hand gets noticebly wet after only a few seconds, and the pressure seems very weak. I tried a 1988 2 litre NA petrol 745 as a comparision and it was dry, no smoke and noticable pressure hitting my hand. I am talking about a lot of water here, the bumber gets wet just above the exhaust and big water puddles under the exhaust end pipe.
What is wrong? My car has a catalytic converter and watercooled turbo. It also runs a little bit rich, and the exhaust smells a bit too much of petrol to me.
