radio supression relay 700 1986

I am looking for the radio suppression relay, I have an 86 740gle with a b230f. I looked in the FAQ and it said it was either on the left shock tower for turbo's and on or near the coolent reservoir on the non turbos. I can't find mine in either place. I looked all over the engine compartment and can't find any relay in there. Could it be inside the car with the other relays? I am looking for it because I can hear a ticking noise when the radio is on. I took the radio out and put it back in and the ticking noise went away but the car wouldn't start. I shut the ignition off and tried it a couple of times and it finally started but the ticking noise returned, so I am suspecting its the radio suprresion relay. Thanks in advance.

Jeff
