940 Performance improvements 900

I have a 92 940GL with Regine system...not much of a performer. I am thinking about doing some work on the engine to get better performance. Things I am considering are: larger diameter throttle body for more air, header and larger exhaust to let that air out easier, valve job and port and polish head to let air flow thru engine easier, light boos turbo like S70GLT's, Boring block oversize with higher compressin pistons, performance cam. I am not planning to do al of these, just some. My question is has anyone done these types of ugrades before and which give the most bang for the buck?
