I did something pretty stupid! Need suggestions 900

Hi folks:

I added a quart of oil to my 95 960 last night. 108,000 miles.
Unfortunately, my wife and I were talking when I performed this
task and forgot to replace the oil cap.

Today, oil is on the floor of the garage and all over my engine.
Of course, when it heats up, the oil burns and smokes from the block.
Need recommendation on how to clean this stuff off safely.

Thanks,
Jim

PS. No engine damage, just a bit messy!
