Seat cushion fix in process HELP 200 1989

I got donor seats out of a '92 for the foam. I have the lower seat apart and the foam has minor rips wear it lays on the steel frame. There have been posts on glue for foam. Are we talking about that regular spray can stuff that is also mentioned for doing the headliner or is there some better upholstery stuff that I should be looking for?

I plan on steeling some old blue jeans to reinforce the areas where the foam bends around the framework can't think of anything better, jeans are pretty tough.

Also taking blow by blow pictures of the process to be added to a WORD document for anyones future reference.
This is my Saturday project IF I can get advice quick enough.

Thanks in advance.
