driver seat & seat-belt swap 200 1983

Hi all,

this weekend I am going to pull some parts off a donor car to put on my car. Today, while putting B'laster on the bolts that are going to be turned this weekend, I noticed that the seats in the donor car seem to be in better shape than mine. Therefore, I am considering pulling those as well as the other parts I need from this car.

I think there are 4 bolts holding the seat in, but are there any other parts that need to be released in order to get the seat out of the car? i.e. pins or levers etc? car is same year as mine. (83 245).

irrelevant detail: donor car is a diesel , which I've never seen before in the volvo wagons.

Also, my driver side-seat belt never retracts and I'm considering trying to remove the seat belt from the donor car as well. Any tips on removal of the seat-belt unit? I can't yet see how the seat belt can be removed from the anchor that is located to the left of the driver's shoulder....

thanks for any help!

susan.
