An Open Question To Volvo Enthusiasts 140-160 1969

I suspect I may know the person involved.
I don't know much about late modelcars such as the 240s, 7xx and 9xx.
Just as a matter of information and to help me get some understanding
of what we are talking about, could you list both where you are located
(because in Volvo parts, just like real estate, location DOES make a big
difference) and your typical prices for such items? My daughter and I
bought everything we wanted off a 75 245 in a salvage yard here for
$120; could have taken the whole car if we wanted it. It had been rat
infested and possibly partially flooded.

I conclude that becoming combative was unwarranted but submit that some
idea about prices should have been posited for tentative agreement before
the parts were removed. Would have done wonders to reduce hostilities.
