Need advice regarding potential purchase. 700

In my opinion, I would look for a 91 940 se. You get the advanatages of the modern interior, the advantage of the IRS suspension in the sedan, not the wagon and you get the reliability of the 4 banger instead of the six. It is the best early 90's volvo in my opinion. Only look for any problems with the heating/cooling system and people that try to dump these cars with high mileage
without changing the shocks, waterpump, fuelpump, starter, balljoints, stut tower mounts, motor mounts, radius arms bushings, balljoints, etc. Usually the steering racks might leak into the boots after 150k. I have changed a lot of these things on my car. I found out that if the bellows in the heating cooling go..the bellow that controls getting exterior/interior air into the car can be expensive to fix I have been told..my 2 cents worth..Jeffry
