I'm blowing my turn signal fuse. 200 1987

Well, my turn signal fell apart a few weeks ago. I replaced it with one from a pick-and-pull with the same part number. But, since then I've been randomly blowing fuses.. sometimes after one day, sometimes after a week. I'm replacing it with a 16A fuse.. so I'm at least using the right one. What could be causing this? Where could I check for a short? Suggestions? Thanks.
