Wedding went well - FAQ saved the day 900 1991

9/12/2002

Hello guys,

Back at the office now. Yesterday my 1991 940GLE 16 valve ran well without glitches. On Saturday I logged onto this board and checked the FAQ. My sympthom was the tach would suddenly fall from its rev to zero and the engine would die but other components was running fine. After checking the FAQ I decided to change the power stage. It was an elevanth hour attempt to fix the car and guess what ..... it did cure the problem.

We had decor. the car as bridal car for the big day yesterday and the last thing we wanted was the car parked at the side of the freeway with hazard lights on. But thing turn out to be okey after all.

So steve, if you are reading this post, I want to thank you and those who have contributed to my earlier post of '2 days for wedding bells - car acting up'.

thank again guys.
