wierd starting problem 700 1991

so far, I have posted my 91' 740's starter, alternator problems.
I towed the car to a Volvo specialist, he replaced the starter and the car can start and run well, but there is no electric charge from the alternator, the car went dead just several hours after I got it back from the mechanics. I recharged the battery and drove it back to the guy. After a while, he find out that when his employee replaced the starter, he forget to connect one of my starter's wire(the red one) back! so that is why my car can start but no charge!

anyway,he is hornest. I believed him. I drove the car back, it runs good, and there is not charging problem(guess). the second day I drove it back from him, I drove the car to Chicago. The car runs well on the way to Chicago, when we reach our destination and had a one hour stop, the car can not start again!

not click sound, no cranking sound, dash lights is ok, power window ok, power door ok... it seems not the battery problem. I have to towed the car 100 miles back to home!

I do not know what to say, Can I get such a bad luck?
Before I will talk to this guy again, I really need your problem!

thanks
Lux
