Adding to last post, How much traffic are you encountering on your daily drive?
Remember idling equals 0 gas mileage. Do you also see a lot of stop and go city traffic? Do you have a Automatic Transmission, (2 mpg)
Chances are those who are posting 22-24 ave are seeing more Highway.
I know if I drive between Home and Work (3 miles each way) I see no better than 14-15 mpg. It is 6 lights and 7 stop signs. All neighborhood driving with speeds all under 35 mph. Mileage will increase dramaticly with the more you drive in Overdrive. If your driving 25 miles each way to school and 20 of it is on the highway then you should be seeing the 22-24 mpg.
