5 bar oil pressure gauge sender. 200 1990

Hello, I have a 5 bar oil pressure gauge installed when I purchased my 1990 240. Now the needle barely moves from 3.5 to 4. It does move with the engine response, but it used to move from 1 to 5 depending on the engine rpm's. What is the problem? If it is the sender, where can I get an inexpensive replacment? Thanks for the help.
