Distributer questions 700 1986

Just did part of this job. 3 captive screws on the dist cover loosened. Need an 8mm wrench. I had to use a socket also as the wrench began to round off corners. remove the cap, pull off the rotor and plastic dust cover. I didn't do the next part but from haynes, mark the position of the dist flange on the head so you can put it back in the same place. Then unbolt 2 bolts and remove the distributer. If leaking oil on big housing oring, you can get a honda lawnmower replacement part. That honda part# is found on this board and in an oil leak faq on this board along w some good photos and if you cant find w a search I'll look for you. I cant tell from Haynes, but the hall components may now be exposed. I recommend that you get a Haynes manual. 740-760 '82-'88
