Pop from the wheel well 700

1985 745t

Recently had the ball joints and upper link bushings replaced (ball joints were literally falling apart). Anyway, I had my indy guy do it since I don't have the tools or space, and it's 25f.

After I got it back everything seemed great, but when I went to make a sharp left turn I got a small "pop" out of the front right well. This also happened when I was backing up with teh wheel sharply turned in the same direction.

The sound feels like what you would imagine when a bushing pops out of a vice grip under pressure or something... I guess it could be the ball joint as well, I just have no idea. Is there something common to look for or a mistake taht canbe made that can cause this?

I used solid TRW ball joints and some nice yellow PU bushings on the links.

thanks,
rt
