Fuel Pump on 78 242 GT

I understand that hard starting after sitting a while on a 78 242 GT can be caused by a leaking diaphragm in the fuel pump. Can you just replace the diaphragm or do you have to replace the entire pump?
Thanks in advance,
Chris
