K-jet injectors stuck in retainers 200 1981

1981 K-Jet. I can't get the plastic retainers off the injectors. The injectors are out of the head, but on three of them the plastic retainer (the piece that gets bolted to the head) won't come off the injector. The donut seal between the injector and the plastic retainer is hard as a rock and is holding the two pieces together. Any tricks?? Thanks in advance. DougC
