960 Rough Idle S90-V90 1995

I was thinking about it. You say that after 1200 RPM's the rough idle goes away. Has your car been using a bit of coolant, it starts out that you add maybe 2-3 cups every month, then every week, then every day? It soulds exactly like the head gasket. My car had the same symptoms and it was a head gasket. I had no smoke same mpg. no codes were set until it got bad. dont drive your car hard because excess heat could warp the head causing you to have to get the head machined. What type of shop did you take it to. They probably misdiagnosed the tproblem. Tell us what happends.
