Making a turbo engine last as long as a NA?

What can I do to make a turbo engine last me for a long time? It seems that the engines with 300 and 400 K are the ones that are NA. Does anyone have a very high mileage turbo? Will synthetic help make a turbo engine run longer? What else can be done, intercooler sprayer, etc., other outlandish ideas are welcome. Let me here your thoughts and stories.

i was going to replace our turbo with a NA but found a good deal on a turbo and a great engine. I wnat to make sure I am not making a mistake with another turbo. I want this new turbo (108K w/94 engine) to last a very long time.

Note: The car is a 92 740TI and I am putting in a 94 940 turbo engine into it. I really like the 93-95 B230F_ engine they are very smooth and refined...
