emissions testing 200 1982

Any of you guys out there have any problems with emissions testing on yoyr 240 volve especially with the b23e engine.I live in Nova Scotia Canada and at present ther is no emissions testing but it may be on the way.Are cars older than 20 years exempt in other parts of the country.
