You'll see that there is an Ignitor for the early distributor. Perhaps IPD aren't aware of it, they do seem to be drifting away from supporting the older models. They list it as #2844 to fit Bosch 0231 153 003 which is on the B18D. This means it is a cast iron type so the change to later Ali one isn't needed. If IPD are very quick with their deliveries (comments?) I might order a couple of sets of diodes as I have a friend staying in CT until Dec 30th. Looks like there is still a bit of info still to be clarified.
