Just putting together a 1970 144S. Slightly breathed on engine with a K cam. Mallory dual point dizzy. Big bore exhaust system. Overdrive, 940 steel wheels with standard hubcap (theoretically). New disks, calipers, master cylinder, brake hoses and steel lines all round. Bilstein sport shocks on all 4 corners slightly lowered with new springs.

Just doing the bodywork now. New front wings and front panel. Removed the front indicators on the basis they're ugly. Indicators in the sidelights with orange bulbs. Side lights now in the headlights. Mercedes 201 C class white wing repeaters.


Repaired the rear shock mounts. Done 1 rear wheel arch, haven't done te other yet. replaced one rotten bonnet hinge mount. Will repaint in the original pale grey.
