repositioning the wipers 200 1983

Hi all,

I had to remove the wiper motor, and also the nut that holds the wiper arm in place on the passenger side.

Problem is, now that I've re-installed the wiper motor, the wiper arms are "parking" at about mid-windshield and the intermittent wiper (top position) will only turn on if I activate the washer squirter. \\

So I'm wondering how to reposition the wipers so that they park at the bottom of the windshield, and I'd to figure out how to get the slow intermittent wiper working again.

I didn't touch any relays or fuses, I only removed and reinstalled the motor while searching for the source of a water leak. (found the leak, now I need to figure out how to fix it).

thanks for any help,

susan.
