K&N Air filter 200 1984

More simple math says that FCP Groton offer a Mann (v. good quality) air filter for NA 240's at $4.95, so with 35,000mi changes you could go (well, you figure it out...it's a lotta miles) before you'd pay out the K&N. I'd be really interested to hear if anyone has done a stopwatch test on the power gains, and a careful, many tankfuls over many months, gas mileage comparison of the K&N to a FRESH stock paper filter. Non-turbo 240's are a pretty sedate beast, and I'd wager the difference is too small to be felt.
