Mystery Oil Leak 200 1989

My 1990 Volvo 240 wagon developed a slow oil leak in the rear part of the engine.

Some fresh and clear motor oil will collect on the lip of the engine ( where the head meets the lower red half ) underneath the #4 spark splug.

I can trace more oil coming up the engine between the firewall, so I changed the valve cover gasket.

But oil leak continues !!

Is it that I messed the valve cover gasket job and not applied enough sealant to the "curved" part or is there another seal between the firewall and the head that I am missing ?

Thanks,
