Headlights? 700 1985

There is a good section in the 700/900 FAQ on this:

http://www.brickboard.com/FAQ/700-900/ElectricalCircuitsRelays.htm#LightsDontWorkBulbOutRelay

The high beams are powered through fuse 2 in the momentary position. The momentary position also bypasses the headlight relay. Your problem is probably a bad headlight relay. It is relay K in the Central Electrical Unit. Once again go to the 700/900 FAQ. Terminal 1 of relay K's base gets power all of the time, key on or off. Terminal 5 of relay K's base is the output to the turn signal/headlight/etc. switch. Terminal 3 is the output to fuses 21 and 22 which supply the rest of the lights on the car (except brake, front and rear fog lights). Jumper terminal 1 to terminal 5 of relay K's base, and you should have just the headlights.

Are your the fingers on your left hand getting tired of holding the turn signla switch back while you drive?
